Dollar Bin Digging 42
So everyone already knows to look for 52 issues #7 and 11 for the 1st Batwoman, but with her CW series coming later in the year it might make sense to take a look at her original run on Detective Comics.
Issue #854 is the 1st appearance of Alice, who figures to be the big bad of that new series. There is also a 1:10 variant for this book as well as a couple other of the 1st issues. While there is a chance you may find a variant in a bin, the cover would be not J.H. Williams. If you are unsure just look at the bar code for the variants which would read xxxxxxxxxx21.
But for the read alone this run is worth picking up as well. Greg Rucka and those J.H. Williams covers were great. J.H. did most of the interiors as well, but Jock and Scott Kolins pitched in to wrap up the run.

This is a general category based totally on nostalgia. These types of random books may not be big sellers but you can make a couple bucks. But they are also just a lot of fun. If it makes you smile when you come across it in a box, there’s a good chance someone out there will love it too.
Prime example, this Camp Candy #1 I found today in a dollar bin. It made me smile, especially with Great Outdoors on AMC lately. I have a vague recollection of this animated series on NBC. Don’t think it lasted long but there are multiple listings of this book for $10.
Another series that struck that same cord was Kid ‘n Play. If you close to my age (41) than you prob loved the movie House Party. Maybe even Class Act too. But this nostalgic book is another fun one. The gem is the last issue #9 of that series had a ton of Marvel characters in it, making Kid ‘n Play cannon in the Marvel Universe.
