Really Worried for a Minute
When Marvel announced they were revealing a “game-changing title” on the View today, speculation ran wild. Marvel called it a “forceful announcement.” So everyone was guessing that Marvel was crossing the Star Wars universe and the Marvel universe. That would have sucked.
As a huge fan of both franchises, I was not interested one bit in that crossover happening.
Thank everything holy, that the “forceful announcement” was a new Avengers team series. A new series written by Ms. Marvel and X-Men writer G. Willow Wilson and Angela: Asgard’s Assassin writer Marguerite Bennett, and drawn by X-Men artist Jorge Molina. A-Force, a new, all-female team will replace the Avengers during the events of Marvel’s Secret Wars mega-crossover.
The team will consist of She-Hulk, Medusa, Dazzler, Nico Minoru and many of Marvel’s other top female heroes. The series will also debut a new, cosmically powered heroine named Singularity.
I am just glad we won’t see Wolverine battling Darth Vader.
