SDCC : Marvel Movie Announcements!!

News out of SDCC has the internet nearly exploding.  With the biggest news coming tonight from Marvel, here’s a brief summary of what was announced as well as what books to keep an eye on.

November 6, 2020 will be the start of the MCU’s Phase 4 with THE ETERNALS movie.  While everyone has been grabbing Eternals #1 and Eternals #2, there are plenty of other books to grab, check out Connecting the Dots by Jason Shaw as well as Run the Table by Clint Joslin for more Eternals spec.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier show is coming to Disney Plus in the Fall of 2020, though prices on Captain America #117 have already seen a price bump.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is scheduled for February of 2021 and will include the Mandarin.  Special Marvel Edition #15 and Tales of Suspense #50 should start to heat up again.

Wandavision is another show that was announced, with plans to debut in Spring of 2021.  While there are sure to be other books, Avengers #57 and X-Men #4 seem to be safe investments.

The Loki Show is slated for Spring 2021 as well, not much to go on outside of the obvious Journey into Mystery #85.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the title of the next Dr Strange movie which is set to drop in May of 2021.  Strange Tales #110 hit record highs when the first movie was announced, but dropped a fair amount once the movie was released.  It will be interesting to see what happens this round.

The Disney+ Hawkeye show is confirmed to have Kate Bishop in it as well as more Ronin.  Young Avengers #1 as well as New Avengers #11 & #27 as well as others covered in Skot Whitman’s article KATE BISHOP aka HAWKEYE .

Thor Love and Thunder has a release date of November 5th 2021 which will focus on Valkyrie as well as feature Jane Foster as Thor.  Exiles #2 as well as What If #10 are the books here.  Check out Jack Demayo(AKA MR BOLO)’s #CBSI BOLO List Back Issue BOLO section for more insight into the current Valkyrie.

The Marvel panel ended with a little more info about the Black Widow Movie, mention of both Black Panther 2 (Fantastic Four #52) and Guardians of the Galaxy #3 (Thor #337) as well as confirming a new Blade movie. With prices of Tomb of Dracula #10 already

Fantastic Four & The New Mutants were also teased but it looks like we will have to wait for news on both of them as well as X-men properties for now.
